Hi! I'm Michelle Penland Dodson.
After years of creating large-scale immersive art as part of the collaborative artist group Integrated Visions (integratedvisions.art), I felt a pull to shift my focus toward more personal, small-scale creations. As someone who has been an artist for as long as I can remember, I dreamed of bringing art into people’s daily lives—not only as something to hang on walls, but as something they could wear, use, and connect with in meaningful ways.
This vision led to the creation of Penland Dodson, an online store where every product is thoughtfully designed and custom-made after it’s ordered. While I don’t personally handcraft each item, this made-to-order approach allows for slower, intentional production timelines and eliminates the need for excess inventory, significantly reducing waste. After carefully sourcing each item, I bring together my own designs—spanning animations, still artworks, and functional creations—to offer unique pieces that merge creativity with purpose.
In addition to my own work, I’m also thrilled to share and promote the incredible creations of Bryan Dodson. While his art stands entirely on its own, I’ll be integrating some of his designs into clothing, functional items, and prints, allowing us to explore exciting new directions together while respecting the individuality of our practices. It’s an honor to celebrate and collaborate with his artistic voice in this space.
Some items may take extra time to produce due to their custom nature, but I believe they’re worth the wait. I hope you’ll find something here that resonates with you—a piece to cherish, wear, or use for years to come.
